The 49ers have a long road ahead of them this season. After winning their first game against the
inconsistent RAMS, the team stumbled with Eagles and even more embarassing
loss to equally bad Cardinals. The rookie QB Alex Smith has
had typical rookie problems compounded by the lack of any real talent. These are the lean years for the real 49er fan but
another bad season means some leverage in the next draft. Another losing season? probaly. Another coaching change ...NO. Mike
Nolan needs a lot time to rebuild a team decimated by the salary cap. At this point, a fan should probaly do some praying....couldn't
hurt.
