San Francisco Rush

San Francisco Rush on the N64 is with out a doubt one the systems best racing games. The tracks are fun and well laid out, the short cuts are well placed and the racing is fast. This version is a lot better then the PSone version by a long shot. this is one of those games from Midway that you definitely bought specifically for the N64. If you like arcade racing then you must pick the gem up............................................9.0 rating  *

QUAKE

Quake for the N64 is a good game in most respects and is true to the original. The thing that bugged me was the fact that the Saturn  version compared well to this one. I guess the cart format reared its ugly head here. the developer for the Saturn version took advantage of the space of a CD-rom plus seemed to know hardware better then most and got an excellent game from the knowledge. While the N64 version didn't get the same attention, don't get me wrong this version is nice. It just seems a little lacking compared to under-powered 32bit machine that supposedly couldn't handle 3D, get it anyways if you own a N64 since its a really decent game.........................8.0 rating *

Goldeneye for the N64 was a hallmark in console gaming. It brought a great FPS experience that was once pretty much a PC thing. The game has a great singleplayer  mode and follows the movie's storyline quite well. The weapons are a good variety and the level design is nice. Multiplayer is a highlight of the game and not just tacked on...........................9.5 rating         *

Super Mario 64

Some games sell a system and some define a system. Super Mario 64 did both. Putting the italian plumber in full 3D was a dream for a lot SNES fans who played Super Mario World and this is the game that brought that dream to life. A masterpiece and a must own for the N64............................................9.5 rating *

Turok The Dinosaur Hunter

This is one of those games like Goldeneye that really got me to buy an N64. This first person shooter had some nice animation and decent level design. Though the franchise has suffered a little as of late i do think that the first few games were really nice so i recommend this one...................................................7.0
